I enjoyed it overall.
Nothing really "connected" with me in the entire story, however - certain characters had a lot of potential that kind of petered out, despite how nice the ending was (conceptually). I expected more of some of them - an expectation left unfulfilled. Their designs were prominent, but their personalities didn't stick out at all, nor their dialogue. But I liked the artwork (if anything, it showed special skill after a while) and the relative simplicity of the plot. It just felt like nothing really happened - never was there a real sense of urgency, and there was a surprising lack of reader-endearing emotion.
Probably best re-read and in an all-at-once fashion now that it's completed. I'd still recommend it - it's a staple!

I really liked Inverloch when I started it. Sure, there was a lot of backstory and exposition, but one begins to expect this in fantasy webcomics. I liked the main characters, I liked The Thief with his roguish charm, and I liked Acheron's innocence and naive determination to do good. The art was engaging, the story fun and light-hearted.
I did find that the latter half of the story had too many talking heads and not enough plot for me. There was a lot promised all the back story and forshadowing which the story seemed hesitant to deliver on. In the end there were too many duex ex machinas and not enough action to merit all the trouble the main characters took to track down and confront the bad guy.
Lovely art, as usual, from Ms Ellerton.

While I haven't found the time to finish the whole comic, what I have read is very proffessional in the way it is drawn and written. The sort of webcomic you hope to find when you start looking for something to read.

For me, Inverloch is one of the best fantasy comics around! The story is well written, the art starts on a high level and even gets better during the progress of the story. Sarah Ellerton really knows how to use her drawing tablet and photoshop ... The characters are well developed and likeable. Just go ahead and read it!

I can't believe it's taken me so long to get around to reading this comic. I started reading it and immediately got hooked. So hooked, in fact, that I actually sat down and read the entire comic in one setting. The art is great. And it gets better over the span of the comic. The characters are very likeable and all have a relevant part towards the story and develop very nicely over the span of the story. The story is very intriguing and keeps you coming back for more, and I really like it because everything fits in well at the end. There's no loose ends that I can think of. The ending is a little abrupt, but I do like that it is an unpredictable ending. And on the whole the ending's a good one. Oh the whole, I'm glad I finally read it.
